Laser Hair Removal

Yes it really works.  Laser hair removal has been a common technique for roughly 20 years. There are so many ways to temporarily remove hair, but for permanent results, laser hair removal is your best choice. 

The risks are very low considering everyone can return to work and play as soon as their procedure ends and there is no recovery time.  At your consultation you will be evaluated and treatment recommendation depends on your Fitzpatrick skin type.  We will review your skin tone, hair color, and procedure with you to make sure it is safe for  you. You will be given an informed consent form that explains everything about the procedure.

If there is no pigment in the hair color, our laser will not work on these colors.  If your natural hair color is any shade of brown, our laser will work. Our Cynsoure Elite+ laser works on all skin tones and precise enough to target the hair follicle and omit the hair at the root, without damaging your skin.

Yes, we do not currently treat anyone under the age of 17.

No.  There are two types of radiation, non-iodizing and iodizing.  Hair removal lasers produce non-iodizing radiation which is the simple radiation produced by light, and this treatment is FDA approved.

It depends on the treatment area. Typically smaller areas like the underarms and upper lip can take 10 minutes, and legs and back can take 30 minutes.

For all facial treatments you can stay fully clothed.  Areas like the upper lip, chin, underarms, legs and arms, can all be done without needing to undress. Other areas such as brazillian, bikini, and back areas we offer treatment robes for you to wear and a private treatment room to change in.   All of our staff will always knock before entering your private treatment.
