Douglas Halliday, MD, Ph.D. graduated from medical school in 1979 from Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, New York. He graduated from SUNY with honors where he received both his MD and Ph.D. After medical school, Dr. Halliday interned at Internal Medicine of Albany Medical Center and at Upstate Medical Center. He performed his residency, and then later became chief resident, also at Upstate Medical Center. Dr. Halliday is board certified by The American Board of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. Under this board he is also board certified and has specialized in facial plastic surgery including aging face and facelift surgery, neck tightening, eyelid surgery, brow surgery, facial liposuction, and skin care and skin cancer. He has a special interest in nasal reconstructive surgery including septoplasty and rhinoplasty.
Dr. Halliday is passionate about helping others in our community and provides support and support for disadvantaged patients and battered spouses in conjunction with our local shelter, Vera House. As a result, from those efforts, he was named in 2008, Honorary Chair for Vera House. He is still involved with helping prospective medical students from Upstate New York.
For recreation and fun, Dr. Halliday enjoys the great outdoors and sports, aviation, and tri-athalons. He is also enjoying his growing family with his wife, three sons, and two daughter in laws, and three cats.
Heather Bienz, FNP
Heather Bienz is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with a specialized focus in dermatology. She brings over 21 years of clinical experience to our practice. Heather has been managing and diagnosing a wide range of medical and dermatologic conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, skin infections, and performing skin cancer screenings. Her background includes comprehensive skin assessments, biopsies, and minor dermatologic procedures, as well as developing individualized treatment plans that emphasize patient education and long-term skin health.
With two years of advanced certification in aesthetic injections, Heather blends precision with an artistic eye for natural appealing results. She is passionate about helping patients of all ages feel confident, healthy, and beautiful in their own skin.

Mia Valentino, NP-C, RHI-C
Mia Valentino is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care in reproductive endocrinology, infertility, dermatology, and skin oncology.
Mia earned her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Union College in 2018, followed by dual nursing degrees — a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Le Moyne College and an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from St. Joseph’s College of Nursing in 2019.
She began her nursing career at St. Joseph’s Hospital, delivering comprehensive care on the orthopedic and ortho-neuro units. Her passion for women’s health led her to CNY Fertility, where she expanded her expertise as a Registered Nurse specializing in reproductive endocrinology and infertility.
In 2024, Mia earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Le Moyne College and became a board-certified Nurse Practitioner. She continues her work at CNY Fertility, where she provides patient-centered care throughout every stage of the fertility journey.
Alongside her fertility practice, Mia has cultivated expertise in skin oncology and dermatology, including treatments such as Botox and dermal fillers. Her work with Finger Lakes Medical Aesthetics reflects her passion for helping patients look and feel their best through personalized, natural-looking results.
Mia maintains certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS), and is an active member of the New York State Nurse Practitioner Association. She remains deeply committed to advancing her clinical knowledge and providing holistic, compassionate care tailored to each patient’s goals and wellbeing.
